On www.vdrportal.de some guys talk about using fbtv to show the dvb-picture
on the vga card without using any x-server. That should be the best solution
in my eyes. If I'll have some spare time in the next weeks I'll try it. The
question is, if I can set the resolution to xga to get the best picture
quality on my beamer (naturally I want a fullscreen picture). If you use the vga
connector instead cinch/s-vhs/etc you'll have a picture which is uncompareable
to the other connections. (and I mean this in the positive direction ;-)

I'll think you won't have any advantages >xga, so why spent a lot of money
into features, which doesn't give back the investment. More important are the
available connectors of the beamer...
