I was under the impression that valid TID values would not be 0.

Anyway, I assume that these channel entries have a non-zero NID value.
As I have stated on many occasions, the use of the NID and TID fields
in channels.conf has not yet been officially released (see 'man 5 vdr').
So I suggest you leave both NID and TID at their default values of 0.

You can use the RID field to make channels unique see 'man 5 vdr').
