yes, I didn't try it, but it should work. You first have to mount two
directories on the bigger machine:
- /video* to the same mountpoint (read-only should be enough), to access
the vdr-files.
- /<vdr-config-dir>/plugins to a arbitary mountpoint (read-write),
because there is the queuefile (queue.vdrrip).
Then you only have to install mplayer/mencoder with the needed codecs,
and copy the queuehandler (/scripts/queuehandler.sh) to e.g.
/usr/local/bin.
