Hmm,

Teemu Mantymaki from the inital post have one dvbs Rev 1.3 and a nova
budget. I have 2 dvbs rev 1.3 with alps bsrv2 frontend. As i read in the
mailinglist archive this error occures only on Rev 1.3 cards. But the
frontend driver itself could not cause the problem, because the dvb-kernel
driver uses an other driver for the alps tuner. So i think its an dvb-core
(dvb-frontend?!) or firmware problem. The driver < API3 runīs for weeks on
my rev. 1.3 with epgscan enabled.
