[vdr] Working Mainboards for VDR and DVB-S 1.3

Hi All..

Till yesterday i thought that i´m a "alter Hase" in VDR but now i´m realy
wired !

Since Firday i´m trying to get a new VDR-SERVER working for this Machine
i have 2 NEW DVB-S 1.3 and one Nova.
Kernel 2.4.18 (works stable here on 3 other VDR-Machines)

The first configuration was:

GIGABYTE Mainboard with 1.4 Duron and 128MB RAM usual Harddisk and so on....

Result: everything seem to work fine - then try recording of 3 Streams
Hangup of the whole system - no entry in Syslog !

What i have tryed:

Changing the RAM, changing the CPU - no result
Changing the places of the DVB-S cards (PCI-Slot change) - no result
Changing the IRQ configuration so that each DVB CArd has its IRQ - no result

Second try:

MSI-Mainboard with 2.0 Athlon 256 MB RAM same Harddrive same configuration - same
Problems - tryed all ot the things above !

Can this be a Problem with this newer Mainboards ?

Here i have 3 VDR´s running with older Hardware - no Problems at all - sometimes
Driver Problems - but no complete Hangup.

Perhaps anyone can give me a Hardwareconfiguration wich works with 3 DVB-S cards
and wich i can still buy.

CU

Axel
