[vdr] VDR Startup OSD/GUI

Folks,

I managed to compile VDR 1.2.6 on a 2.6.0-test11 kernel with my Nebula DigiTV PCI card. I can get vdr to run in daemon mode with something like;

vdr -d -P "*"

In my /var/log/messages file I see;

Dec 9 23:15:04 pvr vdr[25419]: VDR version 1.2.6 started
Dec 9 23:15:04 pvr vdr[25419]: loading /video/setup.conf

Dec 9 23:17:42 pvr vdr[25419]: connect from 127.0.0.1, port 34028 - accepted

Now, I'm completely at a loss as to how to activate the OSD. It must be so simple that I've completely missed it !

Incidentally, xine works a treat with DVB and my nebula card so I'm sure there are no silly DVB errors.

Any help ?

Cheers,

Brian.
