There are some thumbnail-size pictures in the dsmcc caroussel (got it 
with mhp plugin), but i don't see any relation to the EPG really.

The Epg is for seven days and at least a two-liner description for every 
event. That is more on some channels then usually given by default EPG, 
At least for channels like RTL II this is true. Its not as much as you 
would get with tvtv.de or the like
