That's a perfect candidate for an OSD configurable option IMHO. Not
everybody compiles the source themselves. :-)
They should, packaged VDR should be banned. Exept VDR 1.2.6 with 2.4.x kernel and known workin drivers. btw, how do you get german u with dots and the double s what charset.
