Hi!

Is there also a way planned to deal with those signals, where the left 
and the right channel have a different language? (like on SF2 with 24 - 
Season 2 yesterday).

For the naming scheme:
Like Stefan Marx, I would also prefer if the language goes first. Maybe:
deu (PCM) // or leave PCM out as "standard"
en (PCM)
deu (Dolby Digital)

Do you also have the information if it is a 2.0 or 5.1 DD within VDR 
already or would you have to analyze the stream first?
OT: How about the info if it is 16:9 or 4:3 video?
