Introduction
This card is a DNTV Live! Dual Hybrid PCI-Express from DigitalNow (see product page). This particular card is the one with an onboard hardware encoder. It supports DVB-T and Analog TV.
See also high-resolution images of the front (chip detail) and back.
Hardware specifications
The main ICs are the SAA7162E/G, 2xTDA10046A, and the VXiS XCodeII-L.
The small 14-pin chip in the bottom right corner of the main 7162 -- the one with the orange dot on it -- is a MD10P55B2S, which looks like a small microcontroller with some onboard EEPROM.
The two small square ones right next to the input connectors, where the frontside image blurs, are both 8275AC1s.
- Philips' reference design, which claims there's a Linux driver (someone needs to e-mail Philips to get it)
- chip specs
- card spec sheet (pdf)
The card is a rebadge of LifeView's LR822, also known as the FlyTV Express MST-T2A2EX (hence the LifeView 0822 subsystem ID below); cf. the data sheet of an earlier revision.
