The company was Headquartered in the Netherlands yet has several manufacturing and developing facilities in Germany, as well as one in the United States. Amongst other computer & IT related things, the company was also a DVB receiver vendor.

In November of 2008, Siemens announced that it was selling its stake to Fujitsu [1], with the expected termination of the joint venture to result in April 2009. Fujitsu, for its part, is expected to retreat from the retail computer market.
