The latest s2-liplianin code [https://pikacode.com/liplianin/s2-liplianin-v35/ s2-liplianin-v35] which is now in most kernels does not upload the firmware correctly to to the S471 (nor does it allow you force the firmware upload like before) see [https://pikacode.com/liplianin/s2-liplianin-v35/ticket/6/ here] (last checked 04/03/2013). |
