[linux-dvb] additional receiver beside the DVB card

Hello,

I wonder, if an additional receiver (a usual analog receiver) 
- connected to the 2nd satelite conector of the Siemens DVB card - 
can do any harm to the DVB card or to the LNB.

If both the DVB card and the analog receiver send different 
control signals to the LNB, who will win ? 

Or is the only control signal the information horizontal vs. vertical, coded by different
"supply" voltages, so you can only view either V channels or H channels
at one time. (Or do I mix up something now?) And the different voltages
from card and receiver won't do harm?
