Not in VDR itself.

That's a driver problem in the communication with the ARM.

Do you have setting the time from the transponder active?
The various transponders sometimes don't have the exact time.
So VDR might start a recording, after that the time gets set
and fools VDR into believing the recoring shall not yet start.

May also have to do with the time setting problem.

Edit the file 'runvdr' to fit your needs.
