[linux-dvb] Using NOVA card to receive direcPC?

Hi every one,
   The data sheet of ves1993 says it also surport DSS.Is it possible to receive direcPC using NOVA card.
Does direcPC  in Europe , Asia and Canada run under DVB standard ?
Helius( http://www.helius.com/index3.html) has Linux version software for direcpc and  it use an Canadian direcPC DVB Card. But the software cost about $200.
