I've had the same problem several times here, it occurs about once a week. 
Here it seems
as if only channels on vertical polarisation are affected by that problem 
(Sat1, Pro7, etc),
as I have never had this effect on horizontal polarisation yet.

Moreover, I think the problem is not the vdr-box, as my standalone-receiver 
("Volksbox") shows
exactly the same behaviour at the same time: No picture/sound on some 
vertical channels for
a short period of time (about 5 minutes). The only thing I can do is wait 
until the picture comes
back on its own.

One more strange thing I noticed is that the drop-outs seem to begin 
exactly at full minutes (the
time delivered by the transponder) and also ends at full minutes. At least 
I noticed that yesterday
evening on Pro7 during a recording around 22:00 as the drop-out has been 
logged in /var/log/messages.
But that might just have been a coincidence, as this was the only time 
problem has been logged.

So might this be a problem with the data delivered by ASTRA? (Though I can 
hardly imagine this...)
Has anybody else experienced these drop-outs yet?
