I am using version 0.9-20010618 it's working fine(no segmentation faults).
Also you need vdr-0.83.

connect your satellite with the card.
Copy the two 2 file to a directory unpack it.

go to DVB/driver
make
make insmod

now you must have a picture on your tv(connected to fbas-port)

go to ../libdvb
make

than go to VDR
make

start vdr and have fun(maybe you need a new settings)
