[linux-dvb] Re: Howto setup a multicast network connection?

Hi,
I use the KNC card with the driver from
http://www.metzlerbros.org/dvb/index.html  version 1.1.6b and SUSE 8.2. 
As a newbie it took me quiet some time to get everything to work, but
now it finally works with (n-tv) 
dvbstream -o -ps -f 12670 -p v -s 22000 162 96 | xine
stdin://mpeg2      
It takes some time before the picture shows up ?????   Why?
I use the latest version of xine , (gxine also works)
It never worked with xine -, as in most publications mentioned, why ?
