[linux-dvb] Re: nova pci dvb-t + 2.6.0-test10 kernel?

Hello Gerd,

My new toy doesn't work, looks like i2c bus trouble. Any idea?
Yes, tda1004x is the right frontend, on 2.4.x it works fine ...
Hm, I don't think that anything tda1004x related did not went into 2.6, but there is a bunch of patches already waiting. I'm holding these back, because Linus Torvalds currently refuses to accpect non-critical patrches as you probably know.

So the driver from "build-2.4" of "dvb-kernel" with a 2.4.x kernel works?

If so, you can use the "makelinks" script to connect the drivers from CVS with your 2.6 kernel tree. This will show you if it's related to the changes that are currently only in CVS.

Perhaps it's an issue with the firmware loading. Unfortunately, I don't have such a card. 8-(

Ui, x86_64... ;-) Good to hear that the driver is basically working on it...
