[linux-dvb] VP-1020 dvb card and tuning

Hi there,

just recently got a VP-1020A DVB-S card from twinhan and I am having nightmares with the thing...
I installed Mandrake 10 (2.6.3 kernel) and load the bttv, dvb-bt8xx and dst modules and all seemed OK.

When I tried scan or dvb tune , all I get is FE_STATUS : FE_TIMEOUT and nothing tunes, so I dug down deeper. DMESG reports all the details of the card (I assume is correct) bttv shows TUNER=4
and the card is type 0x71... (I have 2 cards with ia bttv chipset onboard)
When I loaded the dst module in debug mode, this is what the syslog was spewing out when I was doing a frequency change using dvbtune/scan

Anyone got a suggestion where to look??
Best Regards
