I have now made some changes so i now have

  a) a P4 HT motherboard
  b) only one Nexus-S PCI (I also tried with just the Nova)
  c) no multiswitch (directly connected to LNB)

and the result stays the same. After approx 16k of reads, the receiver
kinds of looses the signal. It works perfectly using an old driver.

Has anybody else seen this ?
