[linux-dvb] Best analog solution

FiëstaI can choose between a hauppauge PVR350 (analog only) or a
fujitsu/siemens DVB-C including analog module (both DVB-C as analog)

The problem is that I did found mostly problems with the siemens analog
module so am not sure which
whould be the best solution. DVB-C + analog module would be the best
solution if it works properly.
I wonder why this seems still a problem since the SAA7113H is a 9 bit video
processor and the micronas msp 3403C the audio processor.
Both are passive chips.
If the module would be supported then it is possible to view/record even
from an analog source, right?

On the other hand, the PVR350 has on-board encoder/decoder so great for
analog but no DVB-C.
The hard way for this is to use the PVF350 first till end this year and then
swap the PVR350 with a DVB-C card.

I wonder, how do you guys solve the analog troubles.
