If I don't remember wrong, the option to build the frontend module for
this card is under the video4linux config, not under the dvb config.

You can also hand edit /usr/src/linux/.config and make sure both of
these are enabled:

CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88=m
CONFIG_VIDEO_CX88_DVB=m
