[linux-dvb] Technotrend C-2300 (DVB-C) tweaks anyone (very blocky stuttering image)

Hello,

I recently got a TT C2300 (DVB-C) card with CI & CAM. Ran it in windows, worked very well. But when switching to the machine it was bought for with a fresh Debian unstable (2.6.10) the smooth picture is gone. Card is found, scan gives me the right channels, czap seems to work, tried a quick test with dvbstream piped into Mplayer and the result is stuttering pixelated images, as if the card doesn't have enough power to decode it all.

What can I do to improve things? Is there any idea to go to a vanilla 2.11rc-kernel or should I compile new modules from CVS? Get another Harddrive to install OS on?

All suggestions more than welcome!

Hardware

AMD Sempron 2800+
Asus N7A8X-X MB, 512 MB RAM
120 GB Disk, CDROM (on separate IDE Channels)
Technotrend C2300 with CI & CAM

Thanks in advance!

Johan Kihlström
