[linuxtv-softmpeg] Libsoftmpeg + CLE266

Hi, 

I'd like to use libsoftmpeg library with a Mini ITX board. This MITX version
support HW MPEG decoding through its IC CLE266. However, it seems that
libsoftmpeg uses the software codecs from libavcodec by default. Does
anybody know how can I manage to use libsoftmpeg with another MPEG-Library
such as DDMPEG? Is Libsoftmpeg going to support such feature in the near
future? 

Suggestions are wellcome as I am newbie in this subject ;)
