no problem!, the fact is that the main work is to realize the menu' and 
the browser code, displaying an image would be very simple if the api 
worked correclty ehehehhe

I was a week in germany and my gf didn't want me to work :( so I need to 
get back into vdr hacking.

I will try to, in this order:
- display an image from WITHIN vdr (I can in a standalone program but 
NOT from insede vdr)
- finish the image menu' and integrate a sort of browser

I will write a function that, given a path, loads converts and displays 
an image, so it will be simple to realize your patch!
