Not necessarily. You can of course set your hwclock to localtime, it's only important that the 
system-configuration (/etc/adjtime) is properly set, too. It can also be better to use localtime here, 
especially when you use nvram-wakeup, because its less confusing when the bios shows 'your' 
time, too.

The system-clock will be set only once while booting, and it will always be set to the local time. 
To have correct EPG-data, you must always set the correct timezone, regardless what time the 
hwclock runs at.

BTW: anybody else noticed that the french channels (K1-K13 at least) have fixed their EPG-
times? At least when I look in the EPG, they now have current/next events, which wasn't the 
case a few weeks ago.
