please help me... it is my alltime problem... SVCD's.... :-/

after 3 months of trying i am not able to make correct svcds.... they are 
garbage (video/audio desync..., no smooth motion (a ruckeling stream 
*lol*)... svcds from other people are running....

i did the job by hand with mpegtools mplex and with the dvb mplex, i did it 
automagically with tosvcd... but the result is always the same.....

can someone tell me which versions of mpegtools you are using? which version 
of vcdimager? which version of tosvcd? iam am using 1.6.0.0, 0.7.12, 0.6....
