I use the OFA URC-7040. You may have a look at this page as a starting
point for your lirc configuration (based on the RC5 protocol):

The 4 digital (URC-7544) looks very interesting. Emil, does it have the
JP1 connector? See http://www.john-wasser.com/OFA/ and
http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/ for details. If so, it would be possible
to customize the remote to get rid of unassigned keys and/or different
keys assigned to the same function.
