[vdr] Lirc and suse

Hi there!
i have a SUSE 8.1 with lirc and a haupauge nexus card. I have made the
followin installation:
./setup.sh -- i have choosen the Haupauge DVB-s driver
then make and make install
when i start the lircd i can find in the /var/log/lircd file that the
driver is ok.
Jan 5 21:01:47 wohnzimmer lircd 0.7.0pre1: lircd(hauppauge_dvb) ready

then i kill lircd and want to try:
irrecord test

irrecord - application for recording IR-codes for usage with lirc

irrecord: could not open /dev/lirc

irrecord: default_init(): No such device

irrecord: could not init hardware (lircd running ? --> close it, check
permissions)

But i get the above error . In the var/log/message file i find:

Jan 5 21:43:00 wohnzimmer modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
char-major-61

Do you know what could be wrong???
