OK ... this would require an id for series which has be set by the
program its self.  The question is: is there something like an
id within the EPG data?  And maybe there exsist something like an
id in the video mpeg stream of the program which may correspond
to the id of the EPG data ...

... OR ... the timer menu just provides the possibilty of setting
a fallback for the worst case ;^)
