[vdr] Re: Improved CAM support in VDR



I have a Irdeto CAM, and the 3.5 inch drive bay, which I've never had any luck running with the convergence firmware.

I tried first update to ci.cam with the latest version with the link layer, and it recognises my cam (which is something the old drivers didn't do, it did work with the patched driver to use the original TT firmware), an Irdeto cam, but fails to do any decoding and the cam menu doesn't work.  I'm using a rev 1.3 hauppauge dvb-s card on Redhat 8.
