[vdr] ElchiAIO problem with channels gap? [was: VDR 1.1.x Lirc BUG]

With the vanilla release of VDR, everything is working well.
The problem came from the ElchiAIO Patch.
Good to know. Can you precise what ElchiAIO patch are you using, so that Reinhard can eventually fix it if there is a problem (refer to this thread:
http://www.linuxtv.org/mailinglists/vdr/2003/01-2003/msg00247.html

By the way, I saw you developed the very good plugin prefer-channels,
will you patch it to make it work with vdr 1.1.22 ?
The plugin is from Maxime GUILBOT and I just patched it to make it work with 1.1.14/15. Since that time, a new class cOsd has been introduced and someone (Maxime or me or someone else) has to modify the plugin to use this class. I'll probably do it as soon as 1.2 is out, as I can't cope with VDR versions as fast as Klaus ;)

Olivier.

--------
Hi,
Sorry for my bad english.

Well I use VDR since September 2002 and it was working quite well
Last week I have installed LIRC and I've compiled VDR with the following
command :
make clean
make NO_KBD=1 REMOTE=LIRC FAT=1
make plugins

Everything was working fine except the remote control.

Let me explain it :

I use a channel.conf like this :
:@1 Nationnales
TF1:841500:M64:C:6875:420:430:0:xxxx:1604:0:0:0
FRANCE 2:282562:M64:C:6875:7521:7522:0:xxxx:7502:0:0:0

..

As you can see I use the @ feature
When I used the keyboard, I could type in 9 then 0 then 1 And VDR
switched to channel 901

Since I use lirc, everytime I start with 8 or 9 there is a segfault

I changed my channel.conf (I stripped out every line with an @) to have
something like this :

TF1:841500:M64:C:6875:420:430:0:xxxx:1604:0:0:0
FRANCE 2:282562:M64:C:6875:7521:7522:0:xxxx:7502:0:0:0

CLUB TELEACHAT:122500:M64:C:6875:920:930:0:xxxx:1209:0:0:0
FRANCE 5:266625:M64:C:6875:160:80:0:xxxx:8501:0:0:0
ARTE:258625:M64:C:6110:167:136,137:0:xxxx:9019:0:0:0
EURONEWS:266625:M64:C:6875:164:96,97:0:xxxx:8505:0:0:0
LCI:713875:M64:C:6875:166:104:0:xxxx:8156:0:0:0
I>TELE:162625:M64:C:6875:169:116:0:xxxx:8010:0:0:0

There are no more segfault except when I use a non existing channel.

I think that VDR handle very well the keyboard when an channel does not
exist but it seems that the error handling does'nt work with LIRC.

Thank you
