Just an idea: You could probably fairly easily manage to run two
instances of vdr on the same machine.  You could either give one budget
card and one dxr3 to each OR have one instance with the 2 budgets and a
dxr3 and the second a with dxr3 only.  In this case the second instance
could perhaps use the client/server streaming plugins (with the
streaming going over the loopback interface).
