OK this was my problem - and it would seem to be a problem. I was
using the channelid calculated from LSTC. What is the correct way to do
this?

Why is the channel ID only composed of 3 digits of the frequency? Is
this a bug in vdr? Or has this come from the stream?

It would seem overkill to do a lste to find out the channel ID.
