[vdr] Conax CAM

Hi,

Finally we got our Hauppauge CI (the external one that looks like a
floppy) and the Conax CAM and I've been trying to get it all to work. So
far with little success. VDR seems to find it just fine, but it won't
decrypt at all. I must be missing something, as I've only done the
following:

1. install the CI, CAM and smart card and boot the box.

2. check ca.conf to see what id the Conax encrypted channels should have.
The only thing that looks ok is:

...
# Conax
1101 Canal Digital Scandinavia

3. edit channels.conf so that the channels that should be decrypted have
the proper encryption id:

SVT1:146:M128:C:6900:1019:1018:1014:1101:1010:0:0:0
SVT2:146:M128:C:6900:1029:1028:1024:1101:5030:0:0:0
Barnkanalen:146:M128:C:6900:879:878:874:1101:870:0:0:0

This is from the man-page vdr.5 where I read that the 9:th parameter is
the encryption method. Originally the value there was "1", as found by
the "scan" application.

4. started VDR and changed to the encrypted channel. EPG is shown ok but
no image. The logs say this (edited for less verbosity):

kernel: DVB: registering new adapter (Technotrend/Hauppauge PCI rev2.1 or 2.2).
kernel: DVB: VES1820(0): setup for tuner sp5659c

So something happens but not really the right thing. I must have
overlooked something, or then I've thrown 250e down the drain. :) The
system is:

	VDR 1.2.6pre4
	Hauppauge DVB-c 2.1/2.2
	Hauppauge CI (floppy one)
	Conax CAM 4.00

Anyone have a similar system working, or can say for sure that "doesn't
work an never will"?

Thanks,
    Jan Ekholm
