[vdr] Re: ANNOUNCE: graphlcd-0.0.8

Same problem for my hd61830.

Interestingly there is no output in the log that says, that the hd61830 got initialized when starting the plugin with -c hd61830 or HD61830.

Feb 26 23:35:46 video vdr[25620]: starting plugin: graphlcd
Feb 26 23:35:46 video vdr[25629]: graphlcd plugin: Display update thread started (pid=25629)
Feb 26 23:35:46 video vdr[25629]: graphlcd plugin: benchmark started.
Feb 26 23:35:46 video vdr[25629]: graphlcd plugin: benchmark stopped. Time for Port Command: 2363ns
Feb 26 23:35:46 video vdr[25630]: LIRC remote control thread started (pid=25630)

But if I start (with the same display connected) with -c t6963 I get an ouput like this: (btw, dont try this, the display shreeks horribly when doing this).

Feb 26 23:35:33 video vdr[25401]: graphlcd plugin: logo /video/plugins/graphlcd/logos/ZDF_l.glcd loaded.
Feb 26 23:35:33 video vdr[25401]: reading EPG data from /video/epg.data
Feb 26 23:35:34 video vdr[25410]: graphlcd plugin: T6963 initialized.
Feb 26 23:35:41 video vdr[25401]: caught signal 2
Feb 26 23:35:41 video vdr[25418]: KBD remote control thread ended (pid=25418)

So it seems like hd61830 support is somehow broken.
With 0.0.7 everything worked fine (it just slowed the system down a bit or much, depending of if I was clever enough to copy the Logos into tmpfs and use them from there ;) )..

Regards,
Norbert

Hi list,

here is a new release of the graphlcd plugin.
Hi Andreas,
I tried your new version today with my HD61830 and unfortunatly there is no picture at all, neither under VDR 1.2.6 nor 1.3.4.
The display seems to get initialized but nothing else. Afterwards there is only some flickering visible on the display.
I also tried showpic, with the same results.
I tried using the plugin with the -d or the -p option, but it's always the same, no picture at all.

The old 0.0.7 at least displayed a picture, even though it slowed down my machine very much...

André.
