Yes, I'm certain. When I ran the scan, it says it's not encrypted and the
windows counter-part of this software also tells me it's not encrypted. Here
is my szap output:
../szap/szap -r -c channels.conf -l DBS XPRS*
reading channels from file 'channels.conf'
zapping to 8 'XPRS*':
sat 0, frequency = 12253 MHz H, symbolrate 20000000, vpid = 0x0000, apid =
0x0000
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
status 1f | signal 4500 | snr 18c5 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
status 1f | signal 4500 | snr 18c8 | ber 00000000 | unc 00000000 | FE_HAS_LOCK
I know it's Expressvu -- only 2 unencrypted channels, but this is one of them.
Maybe my channel scan is all wrong so even if I'm getting a lock, its locking
to the wrong place. I created a file -- ca-expressvu, with the following:
S 12224000 V 20000000 1/2
S 12239000 H 20000000 1/2
I know that's the freq that the vertical channels start at and that is the
freq that the horizontal channels start at. I don't know what the "1/2"
means -- very little documentation on it (that I can find at least). Based
on the other files in the dvb-s file, I've tried 1/2 2/3 5/6 7/8... etc.
Anyone know what the correct settings would be for DBS Expressvu?
With this, I'm ONLY getting the horizontal channels -- about 236 found. There
should be 450 found (approx) found.
Suggestions?
