Well, I tried each patch separately and the culprit of the 3X increase in playing speed was not the -replay.patch but the -transfer3.patch. Without it applied everything seems to be working fine.
Would you be so kind and apply the patch again. Then edit dvbplayer.c and enable
FILL_PADDING_PACKET_WITH_PADDING_BYTE
You might do the same in transfer.c.
It might well be, that a FF card requires padding packets, which adhere to the specs.
