I can't change audio pid from OSD menu. For example :
1st audio pid is Italian 401
2nd audio pid is English 402
When I reverse them with Edit command drom OSD menu and pres enter there
is a picture with chnged audio pid for about two secs. Then the picture
is restarted with the "normal" settings of channel like i haven't done
anything. It semms I can't write to my channels.conf file.

Any ideas??
I use vdr-1.3.1

VDR automatically updates the PIDs to the values as broadcast in the
DVB data stream. That's why this falls back to the original setup.

I'm still planning to implement a "preferred audio" setting.

I've partialy solved this with Update channels - no from dvb Setup menu but I have few other questions that i vould like to ask:

1.Is there any way to update everything else but channels name in channels.conf file 'cause when I'm diong a scan I'm doing it with the -p option to dump provider's name into the channels.conf. But when vdr is doing update channels it rewrites name of the channel that I'm watching (deletes providers name in front of the channels name written by scan)
2. Is there anybody working on the divx subtitle plugin, as I have tried to explain in article
