[vdr] "language or character encoding aware" EPG data

Hi,

I wonder if it is possible (or is it already implemented and I didn't 
find it?) to have the EPG data "language, or character encoding aware", 
meaning that if we get EPG in different languages with different 
character encodings, each event would be displayed using the appropriate 
font, regardless of the OSD language setting, which in turn selects a 
font encoding for all text displayed.
I do not know if EPG data itself carries the language or character 
encoding information (I just know that data from XMLTV sources has that, 
for example), but I imagine some optional mapping configuration (maybe 
in channels.conf) could used for that purpose. If the mapping is 
missing, the default OSD setting would be used.
What do you think about this?
