[vdr] A couple of DXR3 problems

I've currently got two problems with the DXR3 (VDR 1.3.15, DXR3 plugin
0.2.3pre2 with Lock()/Unlock() removed from dxr3syncbuffer.c). The first
problem is that VDR keeps putting it into letterbox mode for a 4:3 TV,
but I've got a 16:9 TV. The aspect ratio setting in the DVB menu doesn't
seem to make any difference, and nothing seems to happen when I use the
"Toggle force letterbox" option (it's called something like that anyway)
in the DXR3 menu. I have to run "em8300setup -o" after starting VDR.
That's weird in itself, because surely it should be "-w" for my TV. I
think this is the sort of confusion that happens when aspect ratio
options are (redundantly) applied to sources instead of to the output
device.  Sometimes VDR sets it back to letterbox when I change channel,
sometimes it doesn't.

The second problem is probably more serious, I can't fast forward
through recorded material. For the first few minutes of the programme
what happens is that it starts fast-forwarding OK, then slows right
down. It looks as if it's displaying just the key frames you usually see
when fast-forwarding, but instead of running them together rapidly it's
pausing after each one so overall progress through the programme is as
its playback speed. I have to keep toggling fast-forward.

After a few minutes it seems it won't even do that, it just causes a
reset and when I go to play the programme again I have to start from the
beginning. This is in the log (I'm not a "This Morning" fan, but I heard
they were going to show a specific item I wanted to watch):
