I'd like to reorganize the page a bit. Maybe give it a table like DVB-T_USB_Devices has. Hlangos 14:46, 6 April 2009 (CEST)

I'll preface my comment by first noting that there is a general inconsistency throughout the wiki in regards to presenting information (and, indeed, much of it is my own doing...but whatever). This page, specifically, makes the classic mistake of lumping three different subject matters into one: EC168 chipset info; "EC168 devices" info (whereby we define "EC168 devices" to be simply those devices based around the EC168 usb bridge and supported by the ____ kernel driver for the EC168 chipset); and specific info about a device which happens to fall within the broader "EC168 device" category. I hope that makes sense and gives some indication as to what should be done.
Well, currently there is no information on the chipset other than the information gained via usb siffing. So there is not much to put on a separate chipset page. This also casts doubts on there ever being a full support for any of the devices that contain this chipset. I agree however that the page needs more structure to separate the different areas of information. I did some of the restructuring to clean up the mess of ppl editing without an eye for the semantics of sections and subsections. I'll try to clean up the list of devices tomorrow.

PCBasic TNT USB Basic V5 ( France )

Just bough that and i can't manage to make it work under Linux.
The PCB identifies it as a ForwardVideo "EzTV818_D.". Work with a EC168 and a MXL5003S ( no doubt about it, but it is barely legible ). ( and the EC168BDA.bin firmware is provided on the CD )
Each time i connect it dmesg give me that  :

[ 137.534597] dvb-usb: found a 'E3C EC168 DVB-T USB2.0 reference design' in cold state, will try to load a firmware

i guess the Maxlinear chip is incorrectly identified and crash the card.
If someone know what i should try ot who to contact, don't hesitate.
( no PCB picture : i've no camera and i can't manage to make a decent picture with my scanner )
