Every CF card on the market with  more than 4.. 8MB
can do that too. 

The only "adapther" a CF needs "moves" the fine pins to the
wider of the IDE-plug. Just some simple copper wires.

second you have the addvantage, that the fixed disk
is removavle, almost hot swapable so it can be filled
easily at an other PC without turning that off and on evertime.
