[linux-dvb] Re: can't record MPEG1!

ansgar@jonietz.de(Ansgar Jonietz)  23.08.01 18:14

Once upon a time Ansgar Jonietz shaped the electrons to say...

>Hi,

>>> Aug 22 05:06:03 vdr vdr[5912]: ERROR: can't record MPEG1!
>>>
>>> What does this say?
>>
>> Might have been an error in the incoming data that fooled VDR into

>> if it doesn't happen too often.

>But here it does happen often!

Got it this moment too.

Outside were a lightning...
and i had absolutely no digital receive any more
(starts with "queeeking" sounds in audio, artfacts in image
sevaral rebooting of vdr,
no reaction on RC,
and ends in black image for some minutes).

So Klaus is right.

BTW:
Ist there no way to detect the signal strength?
The W<ooops> software contains a scanner that shows a strength indicator.

Hm, thought vdr is cleaning the disk?
Now i got
"low disk space (0 MB, limit is 512 MB)"
