Hi Holger,

I have not seen any outcommand errors and nor does the ARM crash - vdr
seems to remain fully functional, it's just not receiving any input,
with kdvb-fe trying to lock.

I have just installed 2002-11-22 and it has the same problem, although I
did once out of many attempts, switching between active channels, get it
to lock up and give me vision and sound again, after switching to an
empty channel.

On the old driver, with VDR 1.0.4, switching between empty channels and
active ones took the same time (about 1 second) and there was never a
problem. With the new versions, after switching to an empty channel it
can take 6-7 seconds to switch after another channel is selected.

Another observation, which is not present with the 2002-11-1 driver I
was using, is that after insmoding the driver, I have 1 kdvb-fe process
as normal. When I then start vdr, this process is instantly rendered a
zombie and a <defunct> label appears next to it in top, and a new
kdvb-fe process is started.

Regards,

Richard Scobie
