A master reset reads these values from external hardware using the i2c
bus (saa7146 spec, page 20).

If you do a master reset from a running Linux system on some "dumb"
analog video cards, this i2c access gets stuck and blocks the pci bus
indefinetly, resulting in an immediate system hang.

It should be safe to do a saa7146 master reset on boards where
subsystmevendor id/subsystem id are present. I'll commit a patch asap.
