I have not a single normal lamp (also no halogen lamps) in my 
appartement, only power saving lamp types. I put out every light I 
don't need, I don't travel by car or plane (and of cause don't have 
no air condition). So I'm only wasting energy with my vdr box, which 
is scanning EPGs all day long... But you're allright, we need a 
general approach.
