Beside the DPID there is another thing that does'nt work as expected using 
the SBLive and maybe other cards...

The "normal" APID audio data usually contain old "standard" Dolby sound, that 
means, they can be decoded into 4+1 channels as well, IMHO.
Of course the quality is'nt that good but because most broadcasters still 
send those streams it would be fine...

AFAIK alsalib has support for such decodings as well i wonder if one could 
feed the soundcard instead of the DVB card with those data during replay at 
least, during "view" probably not (i guess) ??

At the moment i do it a dumb way - i record the DVBaudio out via analog in 
and let it then output again as 4+1 analog. It works, but the front/rear 
separation is'nt as good as under windows using the same "trick".
