[vdr] "movie switch" confuses mplayer?!

Hello everyone,

I've finally managed to implement a mode where I can switch to all channels
while streaming (stream-plugin) them to another pc, just by switching the 
stream sent to the client.

Now after switching, MPlayer also switches to the other channel BUT the 
playback gets sloppy and slow. But after restarting mplayer and the client
(*without* restarting the plugin or anything, just connecting again), the
movie runs normal again.

Any suggestions?
Always start with an I-Frame?

When just Detach()'ing and Attach()'ing the receiver object it's just the
slight glitch in the output, when I Detach() and delete the receiver object
to recreate it on the new channel parameters, the above happens. The stream
is not broken (as mplayer can replay it when restarted) but I guess the 
part where the stream changes is.
